Junior Firefighter Program

The mission of the Junior Firefighter program of the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company is to provide a safe environment for the youth of our community to gather and educate on fire and rescue service, while providing positive social interaction with both the senior members of the organization and community.

The Junior Firefighter Program will be a high-performance component of the CSVFC that serves as the stepping stone into the organization by developing high-functioning personnel ready to respond to emergencies as probationary members when they turn sixteen (16) years of age, and ready to pass the required training necessary to become an interior firefighter.

The Junior Firefighter Program of the CSVFC will instill these core values: Pride, Service, Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Professionalism, Respect and Courage. “I will not cheat, steal, lie, or tolerate anyone who does.”

The Junior Firefighter Program is open to any child age 10-15. The program meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Requirements are attached to a package each child will get when an application is submitted. Please click on the link to obtain the application.
Please bring the application to the station and apply in person on the Sunday training night.
